Beginning with the question "who am I?" Khan piques our curiosity about the connections between the bandaged warrior freeing a town in a prologue, the stern baldie besieging Mumbai's subway, and the jail warden clinging to a second shot at love. Jawan is a jigsaw film where the star proves the puzzle and is like a one-man Cloud Atlas. Jawan movie story :

Azad Rathore, the warden of a prison for women in Mumbai, hijacks a Mumbai Metro with his group of female prisoners, including Lakshmi, Eeram, Ishkra, Kalki, Helena, and Janhvi. They then negotiate with NSG officer Narmada Rai to ask the government to send 40,000 crores in exchange for the passengers' lives. When Kaliee Gaikwad learned that his daughter Alia was also a captive on the train, he decided to donate the funds. Kaliee Gaikwad is the fourth largest international arms trader. Azad confesses his intention to donate the money to a certain economically underprivileged class in the nation when Alia asks their motivations. After safely escaping the Metro, Azad and his group donate the entire sum.

While this is going on, Azad meets Narmada and her daughter Suchi. Over time, a romance steadily develops between the two of them, and they ultimately get married. Azad and his crew devised a new scheme to abduct the Health Minister and demand that, in return for the Health Minister's life, world-class infrastructure be established in all government hospitals. After a shootout involving Narmada and her group, the infrastructure in the hospitals is instantly started, letting Azad and his gang to escape once more. Narmada learns Azad's real identity one evening and confronts him, but Kaliee's brother Manish Gaikwad and his goons catch and torture them. Vikram, Azad's identical twin, rescues him, and they take him to a safe home. Azad's pursuers are revealed to be by Narmada.

In the past, Vikram served as an Indian Army commando and went on a mission to find the terrorist organization that had attacked and killed 40 Indian soldiers while also kidnapping civilians. The terrorists were defeated by Vikram and his crew, but not without suffering significant losses. When Vikram discovered that their weapons were defective, he complained to Kaalie, the weapons' supplier, but Kaalie tried in vain to make a deal with Vikram. The same evening, Kaalie and his goons attacked Vikram and his wife Aishwarya at their residence. While Aishwarya received a prison sentence for the murder of three police officers who worked for Kaalie, Kaalie took Vikram aboard a plane and shot him to death. A national traitor label was placed on Vikram. Later, Aishwarya gave birth to their son Azad within the jail. Before being given the death penalty, Aishwarya confessed her background to Azad many years later and pleaded with him to establish Vikram's innocence and bring justice to the downtrodden. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, Vikram was injured in the attack but survived, losing his memory. He was then rescued by a North East Indian tribe and given rehabilitation in their hamlet. After 30 years, Vikram partially regained his memories. As soon as he did, he discovered that Azad was still alive and went out to find him. 

In present, When Narmada learns this, she decides to assist Azad and his crew in their goal. Lakshmi is murdered in the ensuing gunfire when Irani, a teammate of Narmada's who it is later discovered is working for Kaalie, attempts to assassinate them. When Azad enters the prison, a stampede results in the death of Irani. A few months later, Azad and his crew travel to Switzerland to conduct another operation targeting Swiss banks.
